On August 10th (Tuesday), the “OTACOOL×pixiv Contest. Come and join us, illustrators throughout the world!” illustration contest will begin for pixiv users around the world.
本日8月10日（火）より、世界のpixivユーザーに向けて、イラストコンテスト「OTACOOL4 世界のイラストレーター大集合！ 」を開催いたします。
OTACOOL is a user-engaged book aimed at transmitting Otaku culture to the world with a special focus on the cool and stylish aspects of it.
「OTACOOL」とは、オタクたちのクールでスタイリッシュな姿に焦点をあて、WORLDWIDEでOTAKU文化を世界に発信していく「ユーザー参加型書籍」です。
The contest summary is as follows:
コンテストの概要は以下の通りです。
Participation Term
募集期間
From the 10th of August (Tue) to the 21th of September (Tue) 23:59.
8月10日（火）～9月21日（火）23：59まで
How to Participate
参加方法
(1) Illustrations are limited to original characters that do not violate any copyright.
Please feel free to draw illustrations in the theme of an original character.
（１）「オリジナルキャラクター」をテーマとし、自由にイラストをお書きください。
(2) Illustrations submitted with the following tags can be accepted on pixiv.
（２）pixivにおいて、以下に定めるタグを設定してイラストを投稿してください。
Tags: OTACOOL4 and the participants’ nationality (i.e., JAPAN for Japanese, CHINA for Chinese)
タグ：OTACOOL4 ＆ 投稿者の出身国名（例：日本人の場合はJAPAN、中国人の場合はCHINA）
(3) After submitting illustrations, please answer all questions and fill in your information in the form sent by the pixiv administrator.
（3）イラスト投稿後、pixiv公式アカウントより送付されるフォーム内のアンケートへご回答いただき、必要情報を入力してください。
Your application will be complete after completing the previous steps.
以上の内容をもって応募受付完了となります。

投稿時に必要となる、国名タグについてのご案内です。
The best works will be selected for inclusion in OTACOOL4.
Please see the example publication below.
優秀作品に入選した作品はOTACOOL4に掲載されます。
掲載例は以下をご覧ください。
Illustrations will be categorized by the nationality of the illustrator.
When categorizing the illustrations we will refer to the country name tag so please tag your works appropriately.
イラストを、「どの国のイラストレーター代表か」で分類します。
分類するときに、設定された国名タグを参考にしますので、
ご自分がどの国のイラストレーターとして紹介されたいのか、わかるようにタグを書いてください。
Please consult the following when adding your country code tag:
– 香港 -> HONG-KONG
– 台湾 -> TAIWAN
– England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland -> BRITISH
また、国名の分類について、以下を参考にしてください。
